Trying to cover a bunch of fun stuff in this video! I discovered Lisa Pavelka’s polymer clay stamps, especially the steampunk ones, and ohmigoodness! WHAT FUN! We now carry them at www.bsueboutiques.com; watch this video and I’ll attempt to show you how they work with clay to make cute pendants and charms. I will also show you how to make the clay POP once it’s baked, with Gilder’s Paste. I will also show you further options using VIVA Precious Metal Paints INSTEAD of Gilder’s Paste, over the clay. I also demonstrate applying Gilder’s to polymer clay beads while using the easy-peasy plastic rack I made in an earlier video. I love to play with clay, and that’s why B’sue Boutiques now carries many clay colors (just added new ones today), cool texture stamps, basic tools and glazes. Polymer clay beads are the perfect thing to go with our beautiful bead caps and American made brass findings in six finishes. I hope you enjoy the video! As always I appreciate your visits to http and hope you will come and see us soon! Thanks for your patronage and also, your great ideas! Be sure to check out B’sue Boutiques Creative Group at Flickr, where you may upload your polymer clay designs. Check my video list for a video that talks about the group!

Stunningly simple, yet at the same time perfectly evocative of a heart, the knot looks amazing as a center piece to a necklace or bracelet. Its also the knot I plan to use for the creation of an I love knots sticker thatll be available in early 2010.

One style that ole cousin Michael really loves is achieved by a lighting setup which I call the vertical lighting sandwich. You sandwich your model between two buns of light. Funny enough, most of the model remains in shade. If you wish to know how to shoot posh, artistic and sculptural photos using this technique, then check the video and have a look at the lighting diagram at http I wish you good light! — Michael

Part 1. In this tutorial, I’m showing you my three favourite panorama shooting techniques, all using an 8mm fisheye lens, both on full frame and crop cameras. Virtually all of my panoramas on www.pano.ie are shot using either of these methods. The first two use a so-called “philopod” — a string rather than a tripod — whereas the third technique involves a tripod and panorama head (the Nodal Ninja 3 in this case). The advantages of using a piece of string rather than a tripod are clear It’s fast (takes virtually no time to set-up), it fits in any photobag (just wrap it around the lens), it saves you from lugging around a heavy tripod+panohead, and it’s much more inconspicuous. To read more about the brilliant “philopod pitch variation technique”, see here: wiki.panotools.org I will also record a number of screen casts about how to post-process and stitch the images from this tutorial together to create the full 360×180° spherical panorama with no tripod in it, and do some retouching. • Part 2: www.youtube.com • Part 3: www.youtube.com • Part 4: www.youtube.com • Part 5: www.youtube.com • Part 6: www.youtube.com • Part 7: www.youtube.com Thanks for your interest and stay tuned! Florian PS: For those who need it, I also went through the trouble of adding subtitles to the videos… Click on the [CC] icon to enable them.
